Hard to find and even and even more so for a brand new & unused freshly built rod from a blank.This 9ft - 2 section carbon swing tip rod has been built from a small quantity of blanks that are an ex-tackle shop/ rodbuilders stock. It is a classic North Western through action blank, very slim and light,unground, retaining the spiral pattern that these rods are know for.
The full cork handle is a comfortable 23'' long and a brushed stainless Fuji reel seat means your reel is secure.
The top of the handle is finished with a blue alloy trim ring, the butt finished with a matching blue alloy butt cap.
The rod is rung with Fuji Alconite 'Y' Framed single leg intermediate guides which are better & stronger than the older style of rings, the butt ring is a double leg Alconite ring & the tip ring is a 2BA Seymo swing tip & quiver tip threaded ring. The rings are whipped in a subtle olive green thread with metallic green edgings and inlays,
all generously finished in threadmaster epoxy resin, meaning they will stay clear and looking good for decades!
This
is a lovely light, slim blank, perfect for the forgotten art of swing
tipping! It is suitable for any 'silver fish' style of bomb/legering/feeder fishing/ quiver tipping, with it's forgiving through action, perfect for the lighter side.
